Care and support

A SENSE OF BELONGING

Our highly skilled, culturally and linguistically diverse team caters for our residents who come from more than 10 different cultures.

It is the nurturing approach of our staff that gives a sense of belonging within the Rembrandt community. We understand everyone’s situation will vary and ageing affects us all in different ways. We’ll get to know you and the people who are important to you. We’ll learn your life story and treasured experiences. We’ll discover your needs and wants and make sure you receive the care and support that you feel is right for you or your loved one. We’ll work together to enhance your life everyday at Rembrandt Court.

“Thank you to all Aged Care Employees, especially at Rembrandt Living. Thanks for caring.”

RESIDENTS AND FAMILIES TESTIMONIAL

Care Professionals

Our team of nurses and carers are highly trained and are given the time needed to provide truly individual tailored care.

These combined with our onsite General Practitioner (doctor) make for the best quality care. You’ll be in good hands with our expert team who work to support residents to live as independently and safely as possible.

Our allied health team focuses on wellbeing, reablement and rehabilitation. This team ensures our residents have elder-friendly, effective and fun allied health services. The primary focus is on delivering Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physiotherapy services to restore and or maintain residents’ strength and balance. You’ll find that we provide individual and group sessions to suit the needs of beginner, intermediate and advanced functional abilities.

Our group classes incorporate a strong social component to help with building positive relationships and social ties within the Rembrandt community.

DEMENTIA APPROACH

The memory support unit is purpose-built to deliver a high level of specialised and professional care for people living with dementia.

Our commitment to this important support is shown by our priority to become one of only a few organisations in Australia accredited in Teepa Snow dementia care techniques and practices recognised world-wide. You’ll be impressed by the understanding our staff have of this complex issue and how they translate this into the care they provide.

Lifestyle AND Wellbeing

Rembrandt firmly believes positive leisure activities combined with optimum physical strength and fitness contribute significantly to health and well-being and improve general quality of life.
